Terroir
The vineyards, planted in the Terras de Azurara sub-region, enjoy a typical Mediterranean climate, in granite soils. The vineyard was generous, with a density of 3500 to 4000 feet per hectare, provided 5 tons of grapes per hectare.
Vinification
Pruning: Double string, simple cord and guyot. Vinification and Stage: Vinification is classic in stainless steel vat with skin maceration for 8 days. The fermentation is controlled until 28ºC and has partial stage in French oak barrels for 9 months.
Alcohol content: 13.9% Vol.
Total acidity: 5.07 g/L
Acidity volatile: 0.34 g/L
Dry extract: 29.7 g/L
Reducing sugars: 1.0 g/L
