Wine Year
2012: It was characterized for being a dry year and at the same time fresh. The driest winter of the last 40 years, with the rains of September to compensate for the extreme water deficit, as a result the vegetative cycle from the painter delayed 2 weeks.
Winemaking
Grapes from old vines in the Upper Douro, after partial destemming and a slight crushing, the wort was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with temperature controlled to 24 Degrees. Aged after 15
months in new French oak barrels.
