Merlot & Syrah 2015 (Magnum) Red

This unique, odd and iconic wine is born from a desire to make a difference. The combination of these two varieties, Merlot and Syrah, demonstrates this intention alone. Two international grape varieties that together create a wine not previously thought of in Portugal. From the art of knowing how to wait, we waited for 12 months for French oak barrels where this blend aged, giving rise to a wine with rich aroma and a voluminous and elegant palate.
Winemaking process
Careful management of vegetation to optimize the aromatic potential of the grape. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in a cement deposit under a controlled temperature of 24-28 ° C, followed by malolactic fermentation.
The elegant notes of wood come from the aging in 3rd and 4th French oak barrels for 12 months, integrating this blend according to the elegant and fresh profile of this wine.
