After contributing for the creation of some of the best wines of the Dão region, oenologist Lúcia Freitas returned to the family Estate to elaborate projects that harmonize the respect for the traditions with the dream of deepening the extraordinary character of the wines and the region she knows so well.
The grapes were hand-picked into small 20Kg boxes. The composition of the lot varies with the production of each variety in the vineyard. After total destemming, the grapes go to a small stainless steel press, with temperature control, where they are cold macerated for 24 hours before the start of fermentation. Fermentation is slow under controlled temperature, with gentle pumping over. This wine was aged only in stainless steel, to preserve all the aromas and natural flavors of the grapes from which it originates.
