Whole bunch fermentation (50% from Alicante Bouschet and 50% from Alfrocheiro) with 100% stalks in traditional 1200 liter carvings, without coating.
 
We characterize the year 2017 as a very atypical and challenging year from the production point of view. With a winter that had a much lower than normal rainfall, followed by a spring and summer where it was very hot, with large spikes in temperature rise, resulting in a very irregular maturation and with the vineyards under water stress. These grapes were harvested manually in the 2nd half of August.
