Respiro Lagar 2017 White

A white of two centuries-old vineyards in which the white grape is largely dominated by the grape varieties Diagalves (in the region known as Formosa Dourada) and Manteitão. One of the vineyards is at a height of 510 meters and the other at a height of 560 meters. Both are within the Serra de S. Mamede Natural Park area.
Vine age: centuries old.
Driving the vineyard: goblet, shrub and intercropped vine.

Healthy and whole grapes, were harvested on August 24, 2017 and placed in 2 small presses where they were lightly crushed with treading on foot. After alcoholic fermentation with natural yeasts, the wine was transferred to old barrels where fermentation ended. Here it aged only with fine lees for about a year until it was bottled without being glued or filtered.

Colour: In the mouth it shows some dry tannin, very good body, very light astringency to release a great freshness of tasting and a long and delicate finish.
