Climate Conditions
September hot and relatively humid. October with moderately hot and dry temperatures which allowed for timely maturation and preservation of acidity.
Vintage
Harvest on 10 October.
Baga
It was vinified in an open wine press with partial destemming, under temperature control.
Phase
After hatching, it aged for 12 months in new 300L French Oak barrels, the same wine being it aged again for another 12 months in new barrels.
Other grape varieties
The rest (Touriga Nacional, Água Santa, Moreto de Cantanhede, Bastardo) were vinified in small rafts (700L barrels) also under temperature control.
Phase
After hatching, this wine aged in the same vats for 2 years.

May 2010.
